Potter & Hill
Today, Karen and I left young Molly in the charge of our son and ventured out for a short walk. We warmed up with light refreshments at Potter & Hill, on the main road in Foulridge, near Colne.
When the sky is grey and the inspiration in short supply, I tend to look around for the things that get less attention on brighter days. Here two tress await the warmth of Spring and the opportunity to get going again.
Leeds & Liverpool Canal
I suppose we are looking for future dog walking opportunities and this stretch of canal looks good - much less rubbish and uncleared dog deposits than many other lengths.
Canal Bridge (obviously)
~~~~~
We left the canal and crossed Mill Hill Bridge, the path leads to County Brook Mill, owned by Mitchell Interflex - textile manufacturers. Soon we head south again, across fields and back in the direction of Foulridge.
